I am back

Okay I have spent the last two hrs putting all the new pages up and the whole time I am listening to a 5 years (who is not feeling well) wanting something to do. I offered her to draw, color even read and she don't want to. What she wants is to play with MY barbies. Now wait a minute those things are collectables and NO ONE PLAYS WITH THEM. So of course she now hates her grandfather because I said no. LOL He is mean you know. Anyway she thinks so. So enjoy my pages and photos. And comment if you want. I am starting photography school tonight so have to get off here.

Another Dino Photo

Three of my granddaughters at the zoo with one of the dinos. I used a mask on this photo and I thought it looked pretty neat.

Silly Old Women

My sister and I acting silly and wild. And no we were not drunk. We just have a good time together. So many people don't understand but we know each other and accept the way each are. And we make our own fun.

When you wish upon a Star.

My 12 year old granddaughter. A black and while photo of her that I really didn't know what to do with. But I like the looks of this page.

Tomboy?

My 11 year old granddaughter who is really a tomboy. She can climb a tree with the best of them and is always catching lizards, snakes, bugs and scorpions. She loves anything that has to do with nature. But as you see she likes to be a girl sometimes.

LongNeck

My sister looking at the long neck dino at the Dino Exhibit at the zoo. The dinos were robotic and needless to say they gave you a weird feeling when they roared.

Skater Boy

My number 2 grandson for his 10th birthday his mother took him to a skate park. He said it was fun but he had no one to play with.

Mermaid

My granddaughter Lillie as a mermaid. Finally! I took her photo and covered her jeans with this tail. Then added her to this giant shell. She loves this page.

Sunflower

My 5 year old granddaughter Lillie got sunflower seeds for her 5th birthday. She planted them and took care of them These are photos of her sunflowers. These things were huge. The background of this page is a photo of the largest one. She loves them course they are gone now.

Heaven

My next to the youngest granddaughter again. I used a clipping mask for this. Don't you just love it.

Girls night out

Two of my granddaughters doing their facials. Not knowing that grandma was going to snatch this picture and make a page out of it. LOL Of course it was taken in a mirror as you see by my oldest granddaughter.

1st Birthday

My great nephew again this time at his first birthday. He loved his cake as you can see. He is so cute and all boy. I love taking photos of him

Great Nephew

My great nephew taken at Mardi Gras. Another new tecnique I wanted to try. I also believe it is from Taylor Made Designs. I texturize the photo. I love trying new techniques.

Dreams

My oldest daughter and her youngest daughter were asleep on the couch. I took the photo and clipped them out of it and added it to this page. The kit is from LDavi and it is called Flying Dreams. She is one of my favorite designers.

Help!

My sister, my nephew and my oldest grandson at the Dino exhibit at the zoo. I told them to act scared and of course my sister and grandson love to get into the act. My nephew looked at his mom like she was crazy. Oh well them teenage boys are brain damaged anyway.

Baby Girl

My youngest granddaughter. This is one shy child and it is amazing to have her in my arms let alone a photo with her. She will be 2 in October. And of all 11 of my grandchildren she looks the most like I did when I was a baby.

Once Upon a Time

My oldest grandson when he was a toddler. I love this photo of him. He was a cute happy baby. I found this photo the other day and just had to do a page with it.

Best Grandma

My two 5 year old granddaughters. 2 months apart and they are just alike. This photo was taken at Mardi Gras and they were asked Whos the best grandmaw in the world and of course they pointed at me. Wait I am their only grandma. LOL

Z-O-O

My next to the youngest Granddaughter again. Her mother took this picture of her the first time she went to the zoo. Of course she had to spell it. Z-O-O. I asked her if she went to the Zoo and she said No I went to the Z-O-O. Got to love those 5 year olds.

This is my next to the youngest granddaughter. This is a new technique I tried. The tutorial was written by Taylor Designs. Don't it look so neat? I love it. Her father was also in this picture but you can't see him. I took him out. Love It!

Bad blogger

Yeah I know I have been a bad blogger lately. Sorry. I have been trying to organize my digi scrapbooking stuff so instead of making new pages I been organizing (which I am not to good at). Plus Mardi Gras, birthdays and etc. So lots of pictures to take. Which of course I did. One parade I took 400 and some pictures. Not all good but some came out great. But the news is I have started doing scrap pages again. So should have them posted soon (I hope). So be looking for some new ones soon.

K I have to say I found a great site today for QPs (quick pages for all who don't know the scrappin lingo). Wonderful site and so many freebies. If you love digi scrappin and you love QPs this is the site for all of you. She has beautiful pages and each one is prettier than the one before. Go check it out. You will love it as much as I do.

Jump

Okay my wonderful husband bought me a new Nikon D90 DSLR camera. My dream camera. I have three other cameras but they are all point and shoot digitals. This is one that I am going to have to learn. I have had a lesson on what all the buttons are for and what they do but now I have to start taking lots of pictures just to learn how to use them. But I love it and will take lots of photos cause that is my favorite thing to do. This is one of the first photos I took with it just playing around. This was taken on auto and I love the action in the shot. There are a series of shots of Lillie jumping with her hair flying, and her shirt swaying. This camera can take picture after picture in just a matter of seconds. So I am hoping to learn it and gets lots of great shots.

SNOW?

There is something in the state of Louisiana you hardly ever see. SNOW! And this last December we had snow! Now maybe to lots of folks thats like so its just snow but to all of us down here in LA it is SNOW! So of course we build snowmen, have snowball fights and even wish for more. It is fun for all. Lots of times the roads are closed, the schools are closed and everyone stays home because they don't know how to drive in it, or are afraid to be stuck somewhere. But it don't matter to us because we love it. Course it don't last long and the next week will be in the 70s but we still love the SNOW! Here are three pages I made with just some of the 400 and some pictures I took.

Best Buddies

Awwwwwww these two are the greatest. My oldest granddaughter Katie and my oldest grandson Bobby. These two are close as theives and yet they can fight and still make up and be close. She listens to all his complaints and he listens to hers. When they are going through tough times they are there for each other. I hope they remain this close their whole lives.

How High

My granddaughters birthday last year was at the Rock Wall again. (Their dad is part owner so they get free parties...LOL) But that doesn't stop them from enjoying it. I know that everyone of my grandchildren love going there and climbing the walls. They have walls that are as high as 35 ft, a cave wall, even walls for younger children. This is Anna going up one of the higher walls. She didn't make it to the top but one day she will.

How fast they grow

This is a photo of my granddaughter Emily taken in 2002. I can't believe how young she was here. And how much she has grown. She has turned into quite a young lady lately. She was at her dads this year for Christmas and she seemed to enjoy it.

Tis the Season

Our oldest daughter and husband with their three girls at Christmas this year. It is really a cute picture and I had to do something with it. And this is what I came up with. I love their smiles and how they seem to be enjoying the holiday.

Our Baby Chloe

Our baby girl Chloe's first birthday. Our youngest granddaughter turned one in October and they gave her and her brother Blade a birthday party together (since they are only 1 year and 3 days apart). She was so cute in her little pink princess dress and hat. She loves sitting on her brothers train and I didn't know it but at Christmas I got her a train of her own a pretty princess one. But for her birthday I got her a cabbage patch doll. Her first. She loves babies.

Having your cake!

My oldest grandson with his face in his birthday cake. This really what they mean by Having your cake and eating it too! He always seems to get the short end of the staff when his birthday falls on Thanksgiving so this year we planned a big get together. I bought this big chocolate cake for everyone. After his mother shoved his face into it (I am glad it was big) he was eating it at the same time. After he told me that it was the best birthday ever. He always wanted his face shoved into his cake and it finally happened. He loved it. My 2nd grandson (DJ) said I got to call him crap face without getting in trouble MawMaw. LOL But Bobby loved it and there was plenty of un-faced cake for everyone.

BFFs

Another photo of Bella and Lillie. I tell you these two are such characters. Take them shopping and they have to have the same outfit. No matter what anyone else says. If one of them likes it then the other also likes it. They make me laugh so hard at them and I get the biggest kick out of them. I always have to take a photo of them in their matching outfits. I wonder what they will be like when they grow up? I wonder if they will be as close as they are now? I wonder if they will still want to dress alike and be together all the time? Until then I am going to enjoy them so much.

I Believe

A photo taken of my granddaughter Anna in 2004. In front of my christmas tree in her new christmas dress. Of course she had to give me a cute little curtsy for this photo.
