I loved the look of this alley of oaks at Fontainebleau State Park. It seems untouched by man. No modern roads or buildings. Just nature and who could argue with that. June 29, 2008

Breathtaking Beauty

I was so excited getting this photo of this new fawn. The mother had just stepped into the bushes in front of it before I could get my camera up to take it but I did get the fawn. It was still wobbly on its back legs so knew it couldn't have been very old.

Sisters 2

This is such an unusual site I figured I better snap a photo asap. Abby being the baby at her dads house and Lilly being the baby at her mothers house usually means fighting. They enjoyed themselves so much this day that the two of them didn't give us any trouble and even got along.

The 4th

This picture is of the flip flops I bought Abby and Lilly at the Seafood festival the fourth of July. They had it in Fontainebleau State Park. We did enjoy the day but it was so hot. The flag in the back ground is a photo I took of the neighbors flag in his front yard. I took it and added it to my background and then diminished my opacity down to about 20%.

Grief is like a River

This poem was sent to me by Carol Lawson who is the bereavement coordinator for Hospice Care. I thought it was beautiful and so decided I needed to make a page with it. The picture is one of the few that I have of all us kids and mom together after we became adults. It was taken at the Pryor family reunion in 2005.
